Not one but many of these holes in areas under DBKL are not fixed

DBKL’s services have deteriorated over the past 30 years since I started to highlight its poor services in the early 90s. This is despite complaints having been highlighted in the past few weeks. The pothholes at the junction between Jalan Lang Emas and Jalan Burung Hantu, for example, have not been repaired till now. One can only wonder why the director of public relations Zurida Hashim and the mayor, Datuk Kamaruzzaman Mat Salleh are doing. Did they even go on the ground to look at the condition of the road with rough patches done to the road? Along Jalan Lang Emas there are several deep potholes. Jalan Kepong and Jalan Maaruf in Bangsar are also riddled with potholes but till now never been repaired. The contractors working on public amenities are allowed to do a shoddy work without penalising them. In the first place i wonder why the secretary to the federal government Tan Sri Zuki Ali is appointing mayors who are not serious about their work. What’s more alarming...
