Potholes along Jalan Lang Emas

I have highlighted about the junction between Jalan Lang Emas and Jalan Burung Hantu in Taman Bukit Maluri since Nov 22. 

In fact, the entire stretch of road I have noticed has manh potholes can be very dangerous. 

This was already feedback to both the mayor Datuk Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh (pic) and the PR director Zurida Hashim. Till now, they have not even looked into the work of repairing the entire stretch of road.


Minister of Local Government may need to start putting some focus soon on DBKL It is time to revamp the archaic DBKL, before the next Agong takes over in just over a month. DBKL needs a lot of cleaning up. It was on my radar for at least 10 years when I started stringing with Malay Mail, NST Streets and Star Metro because of DBKL.

Recently Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye managed to meet the mayor after I connected them over the condition of a park. According to Lee, app that the mayor did was to pay lip service to him. He had a difficult time even trying to fix an appointment with Kamaruzzaman. 

Civil servants’ job is to serve the public, no? Why do I set to this blog just to start focusing on DBKL? It is to put on record DBKL’s performance all these years. It will not improve when all the mayor can say is “Wow!” and do nothing further to improve the public amenities in the Federal Territory. Kuala Lumpur is not ready for the grand welcome of the new YDPA. 

We certainly wish the YDPA will make surprise visits to locations in KL that have been neglected by the little Napoleons in DBKL. 

I have given nearly two weeks for DBKL to look into the potholes here and elsewhere but nothing has been done.


Their shoddy work has turned parts of the road here from the junction between Jalan Lang Emas and Jalan Kepong-Sg Buloh to Segambut into some third world road. When you travel on it, you will either hit a pothole or think that you are sailing on rough sea.

I wish to invite the mayor and Zurida to visit the area themselves.

Sack the Mayor if he cannot perform his job

If the Kuala Lunpur City Hall mayor Datuk Seri Kamaruzzaman Mat Salleh cannot perform his job, why is the Madani government still keeping him?  Just see how the rough the patches are on this road. DBKL, Prihatin sedikit kepada warga kota

Saya difahamkan menerusi seorang rakan saya bahawa YB Menteri Dr Zaliha Mustafa, selaku Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri telah terbaca blog saya berkenaan dengan masalah sepanjang Jalan Bukit Maluri dan Jalan Lang Emas.  Walaupun sebelum ini, masalah seumpama ini sudah disalurkan kepada Datuk Bandar dan PRO DBKL, namum tidak ada tindakan mahupun sebarang maklumbalas bila masalah ini dapat diselesaikan demi keselesaan warga kota.  Sebenarnya, masalah disepanjang jalan ini sudahpun diberitahu kepada Datuk Bandar DS Kamaruzaman Mat Salleh sejak SEPT 13, 2023!
