Focusing on DBKL and its poor public services

If the Kuala Lunpur City Hall mayor Datuk Seri Kamaruzzaman Mat Salleh cannot perform his job, why is the Madani government still keeping him?  Just see how the rough the patches are on this road. Has the mayor even gone down to the ground to see the complaints?  This complaint has reached his ears and those of DBKL’s PRO Zurida Hashim on a number of occasions.   DBKL’s services have deteriorated over the past 30 years since I started to highlight its poor services in the early 90s.  This is despite complaints having been highlighted in the past few weeks. The pothholes at the junction between Jalan Lang Emas and Jalan Burung Hantu, for example, have not been repaired till now. One can only wonder why the director of public relations Zurida Hashim and the mayor, Datuk Kamaruzzaman Mat Salleh are doing. Did they even go on the ground to look at the condition of the road with rough patches done to the road? Along Jalan Lang Emas there are several deep potholes. Jalan Kepong and Jalan Maaruf in Bangsar are also riddled with potholes but till now never been repaired. The contractors working on public amenities are allowed to do a shoddy work without penalising them.  In the first place i wonder why the secretary to the federal government Tan Sri Zuki Ali is appointing mayors who are not serious about their work. I have highlighted about the junction between Jalan Lang Emas and Jalan Burung Hantu in Taman Bukit Maluri since Nov 22.  In fact, the entire stretch of road I have noticed has manh potholes can be very dangerous.  This was already feedback to both the mayor  Datuk Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh (pic) and the PR director Zurida Hashim. Till now, they have not even looked into the work of repairing the entire stretch of road. Minister of Local Government may need to start putting some focus soon on DBKL It is time to revamp the archaic DBKL, before the next Agong takes over in just over a month. Perkhidmatan DBKL semakin teruk kini dan tidak bezanya dengan 30 tahun lalu apabila banyak menulis berkenaan dengan prestasi kerja DBKL. Di   sini kel ihatan jalan sudah ditampal tapi keadaan jalan semakin  teruk dan kenderaan  terpaksa berjalan dengan perlahan atas jalan yang rosak.  Walaupun lapuran sudah disalurkan kepada Datuk Bandar Datuk Sri Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh dan pegawai perhubungan DBKL Zurida Hashim beberapa bukan yang lalu, sehingga kini tidak ada sebarang kerja pembaikan. Maka blog ini dibuka untuk memfokuskan terhadap tahap kerja DBKL.
